Fixed on the spot where we can
Many breakdowns are electrical — a flat battery, a failed alternator or a starter that won’t engage — and those are exactly the jobs we’re set up for. We carry test equipment to find the fault on the spot and fix it there where it’s safe and the parts allow. If the car needs a workshop, we tell you straight away so you can arrange a tow.
Stuck in a car park?
We regularly get calls about cars that won’t start in apartment and shopping-centre car parks. Tell us the car park, the level and any height limit when you call, and check whether building management needs to know we’re coming.
What happens when you call
- We check you’re safe and ask exactly where the car is.
- We ask what happened — the make and model, any warning lights or noises, and what the car does when you try to start it.
- We give you a realistic time based on where you are and where we are. We don’t promise times we can’t keep.
- We test on arrival — battery, charging system, starter and fault codes — to find the cause.
- We fix it on the spot where it’s safe and the parts allow, or tell you straight if it needs a workshop.
