Who you’re dealing with

BOSS 1 – Electro Mechanical is run by Tony Dagher, who has over 25 years of experience fixing cars and holds the business’s NSW motor vehicle repairer licence. That experience is behind how we work: test first, explain what we find in plain English, and tell you what your car needs — and what it doesn’t.

What “electro-mechanical” means

Most car problems today are part mechanical, part electrical. A car that won’t start might need a battery, an alternator, a starter motor or a wiring repair — or it might be a mechanical fault. Plenty of businesses do one side or the other. BOSS 1 does both, so one visit can find the fault and fix it, without booking a second trade or towing the car between workshops.

Licensed and checkable

BOSS 1 holds a NSW Motor Vehicle Repairer’s Licence, number MVRL 60872, held by Tony Dagher. The NSW public register lists it as current until February 2029, and you can check it yourself on Service NSW — we think every customer should check any repairer before they hand over their keys.

How we work

• We test before we replace. A battery isn’t always the reason a car won’t start, and a fault code doesn’t always name the failed part.
• We tell you the likely cost first. You hear about the price and any call-out fee before we start.
• We explain what we find. What failed, why, and what can wait — in plain English.
• We say when it’s a workshop job. If a repair needs a hoist or specialist equipment, we tell you upfront.
• We use quality parts from trusted brands such as Bosch, Denso and KYB.

Where and when
